PLACES WE GO, THINGS WE DO
British Virgin Islands, Sail-Cycle-Croquet

Enjoy your arrival morning on the island of Tortola. Bikes will be available for your guided, but self-paced tour of the island. Cycle as little or as much as you would like. Your first day of sailing starts on Dec 1 at noon. Begin your voyage at Road Town, where you will depart for The Bight at Norman Island.  Here you can snorkel the caves of Treasure Point, believed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island".  As we head toward Salt Island, stop over to explore the famed Wreck of the Rhone, which sank during a hurricane in 1867. Then sail northeastward to The Baths at Virgin Gorda, nature's version of Stonehenge by the sea, and hike through the stunning granite boulders that line the pristine beach. Cycle the hilly northeast end of Virgin Gorda to the Bitterend Yacht Club. We will anchor for a day at the Bitterend to enjoy a snorkle excursion to Necker Island, tool around the harbor, have Paddle board, kayak or dinghy races on the east end. Land lovers can spend time on shore for a few croquet matches with our Skipper James Creasy. Spend the evening under the stars of Marina Cay and relax with a nightcap from the hilltop bar.

As we start our next day, plan to leave it to The Dogs-literally-and snorkel our way to Gorda Sound. We can stop in at our Support Facility at Saba Rock on Virgin Gorda and get advice on a fun sailing and sporting day to Anegada, a coral island and fishing mecca, lying only 28 feet above sea level.  Or we may opt to hed to Jost Van Dyke depending on the winds. Get your fill of famous fare the following day when you stop at Foxy's and Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke. Sail to Cane Garden Bay for an exquisite change of scenery, and a chance to bask in the sun on the crescent-shaped beach. As we head back around the west end of Tortola, we will make time for some of the best snorkeling at The Indians before wrapping up our trip.

This is just a sampling of your itinerary. This is your vacation. We can include as much or as little activity as you would like

We will spend 7 days and nights aboard a beautifully appointed 48 foot catamaran with 4 double cabins 4 bathrooms and space for our skipper and crew.  Enjoy breakfasts and lunch prepared aboard the boat. Then sail the warm trade winds on the bluest water you could ever imagine. We set anchor at great snorkel spots, beaches for walking or sun basking and a game or two of beach croquet. Snorkel and fins are included for each person. Bikes are available in several ports to explore these beautiful islands. We will spend the late afternoon sailing to a delightful cove then dining at the beachfront restaurants with the sand between our toes and dance under the stars. You are invited to participate in sailing the boat as much as you would like under the guidance of James.
