Day Twenty Two | March 21, 2021
Ingram, TX to Fredericksburg, TX
The small country roads from Ingram to Fredericksburg are part of the well-known routes taken by thousands of cycling clubs and cycle tour groups each Spring. Many of the sealed limestone chip roads continue through private ranches with the cattle roaming loosely on the property. This area is also known for the more exotic cattle, deer, and elk farms.
There are many northerners who winter in the Fredericksburg area on their small gentlemen farms, and many more who are full-time ranchers.
The road from Tivydale is being paved with a new 5″ wide shoulder to accommodate the cyclists. Can’t wait til next year!
The Town of Fredericksburg is like a mini-Hollywood at this time of year. All of Texas seems to be on Spring break, and everyone is here.
