We assemble in the vibrant college town of Eugene, OR and head west along the Smith River to it’s destination of the Pacific Ocean in Reedsport. For 3 days, we ride along the Oregon coast and ride as far south as Gold Beach. We then turn inland and ride along the Rogue River to Agness, which is followed by a 16 mile, 4800 foot climb. The downhill reward is great and we culminate the day eating on a deck that overlooks the beautiful river. We will continue along the Rogue and the Rogue River Valley to Ashland, the site of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

On day 6, we ride into the Cascades and end the day on the shores of Klamath Lake.

Day 7 is one of the most memorable days ever on a bicycle! The climb to the brink of the caldera is challenging, yet quite ethereal. The climb itself is not unlike those of surrounding peaks, but what lies beyond the crest of the hill is absolutely breathtaking! We will spend our last night at the historic and newly renovated Crater Lake Lodge

Our last day is again along the edges of a gorgeous Oregon river, the North Umpqua River.  This is a fast and beautiful decent as we head towards Roseburg, and shuttle back to Eugene.
