Rider Requirements: Must maintain a daily average pace of 10-15 mph.

Ride through historic Mount Dora, Florida for four days of fun biking and local activities.

Mount Dora, in Central Florida’s Lake County is known as “The Town of Festivals.” The town, by no surprise, has a selection of festivals year-round, ranging from Blueberry festivals, Elvis weekends, and even a yearly local bike fest put on by the Chamber of Commerce.

The city of Mount Dora was settled in the late 1800s and was named after Dora Ann Drawly. The "mount" in the name reflects the fact that the town sits on a plateau 184 feet above sea level. The area was an attraction for hunters and fishermen, then the railway came through town and brought in business and growth.

Most of us think of Florida as being densely populated, with heavy traffic, beaches, crowds and Mickey Mouse. You can still be within striking distance of all these “amenities” with a short 25–50-mile drive. We will have a wide variety of local attractions, good road conditions, and a very nice selection of hotels and restaurants.

On this Florida tour, choose each day between a short or long route all mapped out on our Ride with GPS application. Road routes and a few gravel trails will be offered. Miles will vary from 12 miles to 67 miles.

Beginning in 2026, this tour will be offered as an all-inclusive package for $2,100.
