Biking is one great activity. Not only is it a way to get and keep fit, but it’s also a way to have rugged adventures and to experience beautiful, natural scenery up close. We at Cycle of Life Adventures would like to tell you about the wonderful sights that can be experienced when you bike the Appalachian Trail.
When you think of the word “trail,” you generally don’t think of a path that is 2,200 miles in length and that passes through several states. The Appalachian Trail is one such path and it traverses through 14 of the most beautiful states in America. It begins in the southern state of Georgia and ends in the northern-most New England state of Maine.
A few trail highlights and points of interest include: seeing the “worst weather in the world” at the top of Mt. Washington, the highest of the Presidential Range of the White Mountains in New Hampshire; experiencing the peaceful Shenandoah Valley, the charm of several lovely New England towns, and the majestic grandeur of Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. One can also climb Mount Mitchell and see the mountains of Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York, and New Jersey
So grab life by the horns (or the handle bars), and make the decision now to bike the Appalachian trail for an experience of a lifetime!
